We’re opening a brand new facility in the Devon city of Exeter. This will allow us to better serve our event transport clients in the south.
A New Chapter
Stagefreight already have some event transport clients based in the south, such as the English National Ballet. Our new facility—based at Hill Barton Business Park in Exeter—will be able to better assist them, thanks to the dedicated fleet of trucks we’ll be establishing there. We will also be able to better serve any new clients in the south looking for event transport services.
The new Stagefreight South depot is just a few miles from two of the South West’s best conference venues, namely Westpoint Exhibition Centre and Sandy Park – home to the Exeter Chiefs. If you’re attending or planning any exhibitions or conferences at these great venues, don’t forget that we can now offer some fantastic local rates on your transportation.
Of course, Stagefreight’s southern clients don’t just benefit from our proximity. They also benefit from the extensive training that our drivers undergo. We show our drivers the ins and outs of event transport to ensure that they’re prepared for any situation. As part of our environmental policies we’ve also been teaching drivers how to minimise their environmental impacts during event transport jobs, and providing them with eco-friendly Mercedes-Benz and Renault cab units to make this easier.
A New Team Member
To ensure Stagefreight South runs as smoothly as possible, we’re hiring a new member of staff to set it up. Ross Hemsworth has plenty of experience in this sector; he’s been involved in music and event touring since the 1990s, working alongside artists like Beyonce, Bryan Adams, Barry Manilow, Paul McCartney and Chase & Status. He’s also a voting member of the US Songwriters Hall of Fame! This is thanks to the songwriting work he’s done with Suzi Quatro, besides other projects. Along with running Stagefreight South, Ross will take on some driving duties as well.
